Objective of Symposium

  The 11th China-Japan Bilateral Symposium on High Temperature Strength of Materials will be held at Chengdu, China, during the period October 27-31, 2023. The symposium series was initiated by the High Temperature Strength and Materials Committee, the Society of Materials, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the Committee on High Temperature Strength of Materials, the Society of Materials Science Japan. This Symposium is a sequel to the successful meetings of the 1st China-Japan Bilateral Symposium held in Luoyang, China,1992; the 2nd bilateral Symposium held in Nagaoka, Japan, 1995; the 3rd held in Nanjing, China,1998; 4th held in Tsukuba, Japan, 2001; 5th held in Xi’an, China, 2004; 6th held in Sendai, Japan, 2007; 7th held in Dalian, China, 2010; 8th held in Asahikawa, Japan, 2013; 9th held in Changsha, China, 2016; 10th held in Kagoshima, Japan, 2019. The purpose is intended to promote academic and technical exchange between Japanese and Chinese scientists, engineers and to strengthen the technical contacts in the field of high temperature strength of materials between the two nearby countries. The organizer invites offers of papers on topics which contribute towards providing improvements in the understanding of the high temperature strength of materials and structures.

Abstracts within 400 words and extended abstracts with illustrations not exceeding 2 pages should be submitted by the deadline, through e-mail to bchxx@163.com and zhangsd@criepi.denken.or.jp respectively. The abstract should also contain the Title of the Paper, Author’s Name(s). The author’s and any co-author’s affiliation, and contact details of the corresponding author including address, e-mail, telephone, fax should be provided. Please click the link at the end of the announcement to download the templates of abstract and extended abstract.

The official language is English and authors are kindly requested to submit their papers in English.

 

Registration and Accommodation
Fees
Registration fee will be 60,000 JPY for Japanese and 4,000 RMB for Chinese. Students and accompanying persons are welcome with a reduced registration fee of 30,000 JPY for Japanese and 2,000 RMB for Chinese. The registration fee covers admission to all technical sessions, lunches and two refreshment-breaks each day of the conference, banquet, conference dinners, excursions and a copy of the conference proceedings, but not accommodation.

Introduction of Crowne Plaza Chengdu Wenjiang
Crowne Plaza Chengdu Wenjiang is located at No. 619, Fenghuang North Street, the core traffic area of Wenjiang, adjacent to Chengdu Metro Line 4, and accessible to the landmark scenic spots of Chengdu, such as Kuanzhai Alley, Taikoo Lane, Jinli, etc. At the same time, the location of the hotel is also an ideal route to the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and Dujiangyan Irrigation Project Scenic Area.
